The beauty of the Christian faith is found in the fact that we’re not bound by dead religion. Instead, we’ve been given the Privilege of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We can truly say that He is our Friend.

This is a Priceless Gift! However, in our closeness and familiarity with our Savior, we can sometimes take for granted just how Mighty and Powerful He is. The author of Hebrews describes Jesus as the “radiance of the glory of God.” How much more meaningful it is to say that Jesus is our Friend when we understand that He is the One who holds the Universe together!

Today, take a moment to pause and reflect on the Glory of Jesus Christ. Meditate on the Truth that the One we have the honor of calling Friend is the One who gives us the very breath of life.
