The Year of God's Divine Agenda

DAY 1 OF 3

A Divine Plan

Ezekiel 40:1: "Now it happened in the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after 1 that the city was struck, on the same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me there."

Exile can mean loneliness, being taken to a place of discomfort where nothing feels familiar.

And entering this new year implies that the Lord is going to lead you to know something new, but it's not like exile, which brought pain or confusion. Rather, it's something new that will bring you hope. The Lord wants to show you something beautiful.

In a vision, God took Ezekiel to the land of Israel, but it was a divine vision, and Ezekiel said it seemed like he was seeing a city. Look at this divine plan:

  • God first placed His hand on him: Because when things start with God, they start well. If His hand is upon you, He will guide you and take you to divine places planned by Him.
  • He places you on a high mountain: From a high perspective, you can see a city much better. God wants to show us "that city," which can represent a divine design. Looking from the perspective of heavenly places is better because you can visualize from a place of government and authority.
  • You see a city: It's time to see the divine design. What does God want you to undertake? What does God want you to commit to this year? What is God showing you? The design of heaven brings new divine agendas, instructions, dreams, and everything from the Father's heart.
  • A man with a line and a measuring rod: There are specific instructions and measurements that God Himself will show us. I can't tell you, but God will guide you to speak to you.
  • Open your eyes and pay attention: Open your eyes and fix your eyes on Jesus first. Start the year with God, praying, meditating on Him, consecrating yourself to Him, and paying attention to His words, that is, to what the Bible says, to eternal, heavenly things, God wants to speak to you.
  • Many gates: Starting from verse 5, there is a number of gates that God shows Ezekiel, and they have a meaning. God will also show you gates, His gates, and tell you specific things about them.

The most beautiful thing Ezekiel saw was not just the divine vision, but that God was with him at the beginning of the year.

The 25th year for Ezekiel, isn't that curious?

He takes us out of exile, confusion, and pain, and shows us a new design with Him.

All for the glory and honor of God the Father.

Day 2

About this Plan

The Year of God's Divine Agenda

There are many good ideas for starting a new year, but what better way than to surrender everything to God, consecrating all that we are to Him? Psalm 65:1 says, "You crown the year with Your goodness." Look at the divine plan God has for you.
