The Way to Heaven Is Open

And here we are—the climax of everything. Jesus has not only defeated death; He has also opened the way to the Father.

Hebrews 9:12 tells us that He entered the heavenly sanctuary, not with the blood of animals, but with His own blood. This means that access to God is now free and open. No more sacrifices are needed. No more barriers. The door is wide open.

Romans 6:9-10 emphasizes that Jesus lives forever, and that death no longer has dominion over Him. And because we are in Him, this also applies to us! How often do we truly realize this? That we never have to fear death again?

And then there is Revelation 21:4—a breathtaking promise: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death" (NIV). Can you imagine what that will be like? No more mourning. No more loss. No more sickness. Only joy, only life in God’s presence.

How beautiful it is to know that this is the ultimate outcome of Christ’s victory! How do you live with this certainty? Do you cling to this hope in difficult moments?

This victory gives us a greater calling—to live now in the light of heaven. How would your day look if you truly believed that the way to God is wide open? How would it influence your choices, your relationships, your dreams? Perhaps Jesus is inviting you to not only believe in a heaven after this life but to start walking in the assurance of His presence now. He has opened the way—now it is up to us to enter.
