How to See God in Middle SchoolSample

It’s easy to want to do the right thing, but so often, we find ourselves doing the exact opposite – the wrong thing. That’s the struggle Paul describes in this verse, and it’s something we all face. But through the Spirit of God, we can grow Self-Control—the kind of Strength that helps us choose what’s right, even when it’s hard. It might mean walking away when friends start gossiping, holding back anger instead of letting it explode, or letting go of the need to be right in an argument. Self-Control isn’t about perfection; it’s about letting God shape us a little more each day.
Where is it hardest for you to not give in to what feels most easy? Look for God in everyday moments to give you the Strength to do what’s right.
