How to See God in Middle SchoolSample

Have you ever picked out an outfit in the morning based on what kind of day you were expecting? Maybe you wore a hoodie and sweats for a lazy day or your favorite shoes to feel confident. In this verse, Paul tells us to “clothe” ourselves with Mercy, Kindness, Humility, Gentleness, and Patience—kind of like picking out what attitude we wear each day.
Seeing God in our everyday life isn’t just about noticing what God is doing around us but also about reflecting God’s Love through our actions. The way we treat people—our family, friends, teachers, even people who annoy us—shows others what God is like. The more we practice things like Kindness and Patience, the more natural they become.
Tomorrow morning, when you pick out your clothes, take a second to pray and ask God to help you “put on” Kindness, Patience, and Humility for the day. Look for one opportunity to show one of these qualities to someone, even in a small way.
