Stick TogetherSample

Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
We'll always have a friend in Jesus, and healthy friendships thrive when both people invest in the friendship. What instructions does this passage give for us to maintain our side of the relationship?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
Why do you think Jesus gave his followers these commands?
What does this passage tell us about how our friendship with Jesus can grow?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
Think about a time in your life when you chose to lean into Jesus' desire to be close to you. What did that look like? How did you feel?
Is there anything keeping you from wanting to pursue a closer friendship with Jesus right now? If so, what is it?
What teaching of Jesus could you put into practice today to help you prioritize your relationship with him?

About this Plan

Think about your favorite adventure stories where friends go on epic journeys, face challenges, and stick together through it all. Those stories make you wonder: Do I have friends like that? Am I that kind of friend? We all want solid friendships with people who stick with us no matter what life brings, and the Bible gives us wisdom about how to build those relationships. For the next 28 days, we’ll explore what God has to say about how we can have—and be—good friends. We'll see how choosing wise friends will help us navigate any adventure we face.
