Week 1: Be a Man in Your Relationship with God
Job went through it all – everything was stripped from him. And yet, in this last chapter of Job, we see him coming to the realization that now, he truly knows God. Not only so, but also, after proving faithful, and willing to wait in the ‘meanwhile,’ God blesses him more than ever before. We don’t always need to understand why we go through difficult times – instead, our job during these times is to remind ourselves daily, sometimes even hourly, that God is sovereign and in control of everything.
Practical Steps
- If you are in the ‘meanwhile,’ that is, you’re waiting on direction from God, or you’re in the midst of a difficult trial, audibly remind yourself at least three times today that, ‘God is still in control.’
