DAY 30 — COME THIRSTY

At the start of this plan, I told you about my daughter gulping down water as if she’d never had her fill. That same thirst is inside you and me—not just for water, but for life itself.

And here’s the truth: on our own, we are parched. Scripture says we were dead in our sins. Dry. Empty. Without life. That’s dead, dead. But God—rich in mercy—breathed grace into us through Jesus Christ. He offers Himself, Living Water, that doesn’t just quench thirst for a moment but wells up into eternal life (John 4:14).

Friend, God doesn’t just hand you a cup of water; He makes you a spring overflowing with life.

If you’ve read through this plan and realize you’ve never received that grace, don’t wait. Today can be the day you drink deeply of Jesus for the first time. He promises that whoever comes to Him will never thirst again.

For the rest of us, the call is simple: keep coming thirsty. In the book of Revelation, John reminds us of His invitation:

“To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.” —Revelation 21:6

God knows exactly what your soul needs—strength, love, connection, growth, joy, transformation, wholeness, hope. He created you with those longings and then provided Himself as the answer. Every need, fully satisfied in Him.

Jesus Himself said: “I came that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10 ESV). Life abundant. Life that spills over. Life that causes a stir.

So here at the end of our 30 days together, don’t stop drinking. Keep coming to the Source. Keep letting Him fill you, satisfy you, and overflow through you.

As you go forward, make this your prayer:

“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” — Hebrews 13:20–21
