Let It Dwell Richly in You

We have reached the final day of this Bible plan. My desire is that these 30 days have enriched you, encouraged you, and helped you grow in the things of God.

We close with an extraordinary invitation: let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you.

As I thought about this, I pictured the light of the sun, which every day drives away darkness. The sun is powerful and essential, but there is a problem: you cannot look at it directly without harming yourself and going blind. The light is too intense.

Yet God, in His grace, has solved this as well. He has taken the light of His Word and placed it inside us, not to blind us, but to enlighten us.

The Word of God was not given to remain outside of us, on a page or on a shelf. It was given to enter, to merge with our spirit, to shine from within.

And now you, child of God, are called to shine. Let the living and risen Word be manifested in your life. Walk in the light, carry the light, be light in the midst of darkness.

The world needs the light you carry. Shine.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your Word that lives in me. Let Your light shine through me every day. Help me live so that the world may see Christ in me. Amen.
