The Blessing of JesusSample

The Blessing of Salvation
No gift compares to the gift of salvation. I love giving presents to my kids and watching their faces light up, but the joy of Christmas points to the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Himself.
There was a time I tried to earn God’s love through performance and perfection. But the older I get, the more I realize that salvation was never about my effort, it’s about His grace. That truth changes everything in our home. It shapes how I love my wife, how I raise my kids, and how I serve others.
The baby born in Bethlehem came to bring redemption, not religion. Because of Him, we don’t strive for approval, we live from it. Salvation is the foundation of every other blessing Christmas brings.
Respond to God’s Word:
- Reflect on what salvation means to you personally.
- If you’ve never received Jesus as Savior, invite Him into your heart today.
My prayer is that your family experiences the blessing of living a life fully devoted to God not just during this Christmas season but beyond. One of the ways our family has grown in this is by setting aside intentional time each week to pursue God together. We have been using a simple, powerful tool called the Leading Your Family Weekly Guide. Each week, it gives us a Scripture, a worship song to center our hearts, seven daily conversation questions, and a short prayer to guide our family time. It has been a game-changer in helping us set our home apart for the Lord. If you want to grow in this too, you can get the guide here: https://www.faithfamilyweekly.com/
