Before the Cross: 31 Days of ServingSample

Day 9 – Envy ‘Not’
Another way to define envy can be a “feeling of grudging admiration and desire to have something that is possessed by another.” When we think of those around us, are we constantly envious of them? Are we content with our situation and where God has placed us right here and now?
Let today be a reminder of God’s Grace towards us and that all we need is Him. Also, today who is it that you are envious of, that you can turn around and instead be content with, regardless of the circumstances?
Let us not envy one another, but manifest a spirit of contentment.
