How many times in our life have we actually gone to God FIRST with our troubles, our desires, fears and dreams? Looking at my own life, I realize I do not do that enough. Honestly, most of the time, I don't think to even share those things with the Lord first. I always find a way to express what I feel to friends and family before actually going to God! There's obviously nothing wrong with sharing these things with those closest to us. It's important for others to know those things that are on our heart, for accountability and fellowship.

However, what if we approached it differently? What if we vertically, through prayer, came together and brought these things to God first! I mean, doesn't that make sense that the Creator of the Universe, Healer of the sick, Giver of life would be our first call? And what's even more incredible, is that He IS all of those things and He hears us. He desires to hear from His people. We are to come from a place of humility, vulnerability and transparency. A willingness to speak, and to listen back.

We need to believe that together, calling on the name of Jesus, we can change this world! Let's encourage each other to become a unit, a team, to pray for healing, for strength, for miracles, for unity. Lets be the hands and feet of Jesus! The time is now.
