Live Hope Minute: Become A Champion Of HopeSample
Courageous Hope
In a disturbing article about the benefits of giving up hope, the writer said hope keeps us in chains, subject to the powers that be that we hope will intervene on our behalf. He proposed that giving up on hope would allow us to be more proactive to tackle the problems we see in the world, to protect what we love. The flaw in his logic is found in the fact that when we are faced with difficulties, whether they are from within or without, hope says, “I’m going to get through this. Even though I might not be able to see through this mess, I believe God is in this.”
Hope is one of the most courageous choices you can make each day for the rest of your life—to look beyond the hopelessness of what we see and believe that God is still in the business of making things right, good, and whole again, just as he intends.
In what way could hope be a bad thing? When has hope ever made you relinquish your responsibilities?

About this Plan
As we see chaos in the world around us, we want to have hope. But what is hope and where does it come from? Hope is more than simple optimism that things get better or a finger-crossed wishing that things go our way. Hope can be the most powerful force in life. Live Hope Minute explores the life-transforming concept of true hope and how to keep a godly perspective in our current circumstances.
