DAY 12 OF 21

Recovery Day 12

Why are you worried about “bread”? Jesus while on a journey with His disciples warned them about being careful of the leaven of the Pharisees. However, what they heard was something totally different and it sent them into a panic about not having bread. And Jesus asked them our opening question for today, “Why are you worrying about bread?” You do not have “bread” - fact, but why are you worried about “bread”? Have you forgotten the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand? Don’t you remember the feeding of the four thousand? So why are you worrying about “bread”?

The fact that you do not have something in your custody does not mean your God cannot supply it. So you need “bread”? The fact that you do not have bread in your home does not mean your God cannot supply it. The fact that there is a problem does not mean there is a problem. The fact that you are faced with a challenge does not mean it is a challenge. The question is, are you in consonance with Jesus? Are you in line with Jesus? A lot of the things we fret about in reality are needless worries. A lot of the things that keep us awake really should not.

God wants you to bring it to Him and trust Him and God will not fail you. This is day fourteen of your journey to full recovery and I want you to know beyond any doubt that God will not fail you. He fed the five thousand and the four thousand and He will take care of you! so let go of everything that it stressing your mind and focus on Jesus.

Thought: Are you magnifying God, circumstances or needs?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, today I turn my eyes to God’s track record of provision, salvation, deliverance and I am confident that He will not fail me, in Jesus Name. Amen!
