“Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”” (Matthew 16:24)
Some people think that following Jesus is such a pleasure. All the blessings and the good things will flow from Him. The truth is, Jesus first requires us to take up our cross as He had done for us.
