DÍA 3 DE 10

Choose Togetherness

Today "the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him." This is a promise with no geographical boundaries or limitations, holds no end date, has no shelf life but is always fresh and potent!

I am reassured that the eyes of the Lord never droop, never shut, never close, never sleep, never slumber! Every moment of every day God looks for us, to give us strength, to empower us and embolden us. He looks for us, He strengthens us, He works with us and through us.

As the Psalmist said "It is so wonderful…there is nowhere I can go from your presence because You are everywhere!"  The knowledge that we are not alone but that God is together with us is incredibly empowering. Similarly the recognition of Togetherness, as part of a community, is a powerful one.  We are not alone or isolated, but together, as part of families and communities, we create a rich sense of belonging. With the possibility to belong, we can do so much more alongside others. Togetherness is knowing that someone else is thinking about you; that you are cherished by others and that you are never alone.

Togetherness is about both being together and doing together. Where togetherness exists, people grow and discover common bonds that unite them; togetherness encourages love, mutual empowerment, forgiveness, reconciliation and collaboration in place of selfishness, competition and greed. Togetherness negates loneliness and isolation, now deemed by many to be the number one threat to emotional and physical health in the developed world.

Prayer: Thank you Lord that you are teaching me that apart from you I can do nothing. Thank you for showing me that you are a relational God, that you rejoice over us, and love to see us in unity with others, loving one another and working together!

Thrive & Flourish

Every day we have choices about how we will engage with life. We make choices about the way we see, think, feel and act towards ourselves, one another, and God. Over the coming days, we invite you to prayerfully reflect as you read, so that your choices will enable a greater transformation in your life and the lives of others.
