Prayer: Talking To The God Of The Universe

DÍA 2 DE 6

God, I Love You!

Our relationship with God in prayer is founded on His love, expressed through the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and our love, shown in thanksgiving and devotion. When we adore God, we turn our focus off of ourselves and towards Him. The content of our prayers becomes more scriptural, and you get results. We can ask according to His will, and He answers us! This involves an attitude of faith, persistence, and patience. God always works in your best interest.

You are designed to worship God. If you want to change your environment and your attitude, start praising God throughout the day. Praise His perfect character; His creative power; His inherent worth; His goodness; and everything about Him! God inhabits the praises of His people. A great definition of worship is “worth-ship.” What worth do you place on God and on your relationship with Him? Praising God, even when you least feel like it, means the most to Him.

For many of us, worship has come to designate the Sunday morning service; however, simply being a spectator at this one service isn’t worship. We must enter His presence, focused exclusively on Him, and wholeheartedly express our appreciation for all He is! Praise Him for creating and being in charge of the world; praise Him for loving us and redeeming us; thank Him simply for who He is! As you build your relationship with God, worship and adoration will come more naturally to you, and you’ll begin to see His Spirit grow the fruit of refreshed perspective and gratitude in your spirit!
