Joshua - DisciplineMuestra
“Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going. And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.” - Joshua 1:6-8 Message
Do you see the emphasis God places on His Word? He gave the Law directly to Moses on the mountain, and He sustained His people with it daily in the wilderness as they wandered between slavery and Promised Land rest.
God told Joshua to study and practice His Word daily.
The Word of God calls itself a sword. A good soldier knows his weapon like the back of his hand.
Challenge:
- Memorize Ephesians 3:20
- Meditate on Joshua 1:6-8. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how it applies to your life today.
- What are the consequences of neglecting the Word of God?
- What are the benefits of studying, practicing, and applying the Word of God?
Acerca de este Plan
Israel left Egypt as freed slaves, not warriors. God spent the next forty years refining them to become more than warriors. God's warrior has three disciplines: Bible Study, Prayer, and Worship. This in-depth stand-alone plan is also part 4 of a 10 part series.
