Transform & Tell

The word transform means to change in form, appearance, or structure—metamorphose. God is continually transforming us from the inside out by the renewing of our minds and as we listen, learn, and obey God’s Word. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect" (Romans 12:2 ESV). 

God’s Word planted within our hearts will bear fruit. Isaiah 55:10-11, NLT states: “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” The nine types of fruit are described in Galatians 5:22-23:

Love

    Joy

       Peace

          Patience

             Kindness

                Goodness

                   Faithfulness

                      Gentleness

                         Self-Control
