Out of the Boat Muestra

We are called to live lives stepping into the unknown.  When we step out of the boat, we move toward Jesus. “Come and join me!” says Jesus to Peter.  It has been said that Peter was “caught between glory and terror” in this moment as he stepped out and walked to Jesus. This is not uncommon within our own faith lives.  

In the midst of the storms of life, while we can’t always see Jesus, we can still hear Him whispering for us to join Him in what He is doing.  For some of us, we feel like we are in the dark like those disciples and the waves of life are crashing around us. We need to begin to pray some prayers like ‘Jesus, where are you?’, ‘Jesus, is that you?’, ‘Jesus help me to see you’, or ‘Jesus help me to hear you’. He wants to meet with you in this moment.
