A Life of Greater Exploits

DÍA 3 DE 5

DETERMINING YOUR DESTINY IS BEYOND YOU.

Newsflash: Your brain is too small to be the sole determinant of your destiny.

It is commonplace for us to consider our strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats when planning our lives. This is valid when making decisions, and it is not to be discouraged. But you must know that your destiny is bigger than your mind can effectively map out. As the Bible says, ‘the heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps’.

Perhaps you have a call or urge to venture into a specific ministry, enterprise, or craft, and you are feeling inadequate due to your background; you are not alone. Consider Moses who initially questioned his own ability to take up the assignment he was destined for.

Maybe your challenge is not with your ability but the feeling of unworthiness, due to your past or current situation. Think about Isaiah who was a great prophet in his time and his name remains in print to date due to the great works God wrought through him. Perhaps your current circumstances don’t align with your God-given purpose and dream. This was the case with Joseph; despite all his travails, he later became the prime minister of Egypt and the source of sustenance for his family and most of that part of the world in those days. Every single dream was later fulfilled.

It’s impractical trying to process your destiny or God-ordained assignment with your human mind. It’s time to switch into the frequency of God, latch on to His words and promises, and run the course He has committed into your hands, while depending solely on Him for the required resources and strength to fulfil your destiny.

Confession: I refuse to be limited by my reasoning. I hold on to God’s word and pursue my God-given assignments. I am more, and I achieve greater things through Christ who strengthens me.
