DAY 7: God’s Viewpoint

Today we will be discussing how you can overcome the fears you listed on Day 6.

As you begin to move toward your purpose, you’ll find there are always obstacles and fears trying to keep you from moving forward. This discovery can be frustrating. Consider what happens if you look at your situation from God’s point of view?

As we read in Jeremiah 29:11-12, God has plans to help you prosper, keep you from harm and give you hope and a future. This verse is an awesome assurance from God – it says nothing can stop God’s plan for you. When God is on your side, what is there to fear? How could there be any barrier standing in the way of that plan?

Talking to God is the best way to begin thinking like Him. Through your prayers, He will show you how to turn your barriers into bridges to your success. Maybe an obstacle is there to allow you to overcome your fears or teach you something important. Or maybe it forces you to reassess your goals and priorities. Whatever it is, if you pray to God for guidance, He will listen to you, and He will show the path.

Challenge yourself: Journal about how seeing things from God’s viewpoint changes your perspective on the fears and obstacles you face. Use prayer to ask Him to show you how to turn your barriers into bridges and write down the answers He gives you.
