Could You Recognize God?

Jesus went to his hometown and taught the people in the synagogue in a way that amazed them. People were asking, “Where did this man get this wisdom and the power to do these miracles?”

Jesus amazed people everywhere he went. They saw God in him but couldn’t be sure they recognized what they saw. Jesus’ hometown recognized God’s wisdom and power, but they doubted their sense of knowing because they had seen Jesus grow up from a little boy.

God’s power is a power that heals. God’s wisdom is wisdom that produces kindness and love, and Jesus lived them both.

What a shame that God was there and so few knew.
