Jesus told His disciples a story about a judge who didn’t care for people and never gave God a thought. A widow kept coming to the judge, day after day saying, “Grant me justice.” For a long time, the judge refused and didn’t give her the time of day. Yet the widow did not give up. Eventually the Judge said to himself, “Even though I don’t care what God thinks and I don’t care what people think, because this widow won’t stop badgering me, I will see that she gets justice.”

God is more loving than the unkind Just and the lesson Jesus was teaching His disciples was that they should always pray and not give up. Jesus teaches us the same! Pray continually, God is always listening.
