Plot TwistMuestra

How would you describe a perfect relationship or friendship? It may include trust, loyalty, love, care, compassion, and empathy. As you’ve realized, people aren't perfect. Relationships and friendships aren’t perfect. Humans are going to mess up and make mistakes. If we have any kind of relationship or friendship with another human, we’re going to experience hurt at some point. The question is, how will we move forward together?
After we’ve experienced hurt in a relationship or friendship, it’s very difficult to go back to how things were before that hurt occurred. The author of this Psalm manipulated and lied to people who trusted him in order to get his way. It would seem as though there would be no bouncing back from these train wreck relationships, but he hopes and prays, asking God to create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. That’s the hope we can have when we make mistakes. Because of the forgiveness we’ve been given through Jesus, we have the opportunity to make things right.
What relationship in your life needs healing today? Pray and ask God to show you how you can move towards healing in that relationship.
