DÍA 18 DE 28

Whether BMX, skateboarding, or rock climbing, every extreme athlete wants to test their limits. That is part of what comes with mastering their sport. But the truth is, extreme athletes are not limitless and will find something they want to be able to do but can't. This isn't a failure — it's simply part of being human. No matter how skilled they are, there are limits to what humans can do and boundaries to what they can accomplish.

You, too, won't be able to meet every need you see, even if you want to. Because the truth is, the needs around you are endless, and you could exhaust all you have caring for others. This is why Paul has some guidance on generosity in 2 Corinthians 8.

God wants you to be generous with others but isn't asking you to give all you have in a way that you have nothing left. Undoubtedly, this will be a learning process. There will be moments when you give more than you have and others when you don't give when you know you can. Talk to God about your limits and learn to honor them. As you do, you will begin to see what it looks like to care for others from within the boundaries of what you have to offer.

Be generous by caring for each other, but also know your limits.
