Manifesting the Word of God

DÍA 22 DE 31

YOUR WORDS ARE ACCELERATORS OR BRAKES

James 3:5 says, “…behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth...”. Logs of wood cannot catch fire easily. You start the fire with little barks or pieces of wood. Sometimes, you will see a whole street burnt by two boys trying to kill a rat. They start the process by gathering some little grass and putting fire on it, but they never consider that the fire could consume the whole street. These little things are translated kindling and they are what catches fire easily.

Kindling is the little words you speak, the confidential negative statements that you make when you are alone or with another. Statements like, “God, where are you?”, “Are you sure we are going to make it, my dear?” are kindling. So, anytime you are making those statements, remember this picture I just painted and know that the fire has started. That little negative discussion is sparking a fire that can lead to death, destruction, and all kinds of evil.

You must know how you will remove the kindling from your life if you are going to make it. Excelling in life is not only about hard work; your mouth will determine your speed in life. Your words are like the accelerator or the brake in your car. Many people’s lives can be likened to a car that is being pushed down the road, but the driver is applying the brakes while the car is being pushed. All the effort and assistance will be resisted by the application of the brakes. If your mouth is the brake, it is time for you to release it. For someone else, the mouth is the accelerator.

PRAYER: Father, I receive grace to watch my ways so that I will not sin with my tongue. I cancel every word that is feeding destructive fires against my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Manifesting the Word of God

If you don’t like what you are seeing, change what you are saying. The kingdom of God is a voice activated kingdom; your confession and your words have creative power in them, because the power of God is in His Word and not in His mouth. You have to speak that Word over your life to manifest them. In this devotional, you will learn how to effectively manifest God’s Word.
