The Story of My Life - Seeing Yourself in the Life of MosesMuestra
Plot Twist
Invitation to SELAH
Before you spend time face-to-face with God today, take some time to SELAH (Stop, Exhale, Lean In, Ask & Hear).
Reflect
The Bible is full of plot twists—moments when you think to yourself - “I did not see that coming.” The pharaoh who ordered that all Israelite boys be thrown into the Nile River to drown ended up raising an Israelite boy rescued from that very river. To add to the irony, Moses would later become the very leader that God called upon to rescue the Israelites from Egypt.
God doesn’t work in the ways that we expect Him to. His timing doesn’t always align with our timing. When we get stuck in a season when we can’t see God working, it’s important to look back and remember how God has shown up in unexpected ways before.
