Welcoming the Way Down: 4 Days to Coming Off a Mountaintop ExperienceMuestra
Write It Down
There is incredible power in keeping a journal. Incredible power in writing things down.
For example, studies show that the simple act of having to write down the food you eat will automatically cause you to make healthier choices. The discipline of writing down and keeping a diary of your food is going to be good for you. The discipline of writing down and keeping track of what you’re grateful for is going to be good for you. The discipline of writing out prayers, writing down what God is speaking to you, and writing down where you see God moving in your life will be good for you! Not only because we are prone to forget (the Bible says “remember” over 200 times! Which seems to imply we’re quick to forget) but also because you are living history. You are a blood-bought son or daughter of the King of Kings living out the call of God. So where is the log? Where is the record of it going to be? You want a record. You want a log. You want a diary. The act of taking note of some of these things, whether at the beginning or end of the day, doesn’t just help you remember; it also allows the story to keep being told from generation to generation.
Take some time to sit down, and without overthinking, just write out what you want to remember from the mountaintop–the things you saw God do, the moments you felt God move, the ways you heard God speak. Write it all down.

Acerca de este Plan
When it comes to hiking, the descent is deceptive! The problem is you don’t get the joy of the summit without the reality of coming down afterward, so you’ve gotta welcome the way down! This plan is four days to help you embrace it, enjoy it, and head back home from a "mountaintop" experience with God carrying with you all He has done.
