Like the lion is on the ground, the eagle is regarded as being the “king of the air”. The eagle soars majestically through the skies, and it is compared to none other. As human as Jesus was, He still carries the title of the One whose name is above all names. God has so much regard for mankind, that He has given us a “heavenly seat” at His table. Through the name of “Jesus”, we can access the throne of God at any given moment. Through us, God works signs and miracles, demonstrating His divinity over natural elements and processes. As an eagle dominates the air, the Lord gives us supernatural abilities and gifts to dominion over demonic powers.
