Dear Lord,

Thank You for my husband who does not take any delight in evil. He shuns the appearance of evil and swiftly turns from it. He is a man of God, endeavoring to always do what is right even when it is not popular or comfortable. Thank You for the lasting security he has in You and for the peace he experiences because he willfully seeks to do what is right. When the days seem hard, whisper in his ear reminding him that You are as near as the mention of Your Name.

In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Challenge: Remember, you may not see all the characteristics present in your husband that you are thanking God for today but make it a practice to thank God in advance for what He is going to do in the life of your husband. We are praying to “the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not (Romans 4:17, NIV).” Your life is voice-activated, so exercise your authority to speak those things into existence.
