God Desires to Speak to You Through Dreams

DÍA 2 DE 3

DAY 2: God speaks to us but we don't notice him

The text will say that God speaks to us in different ways, "though no one perceives it ". So the question sometimes is not whether God speaks, but has he spoken without us paying attention? We may receive dreams from God, but because we don't understand the meaning, we think it is coming from our subconscious when God was telling us something for our season of life. Why don't we pay attention to our dreams? I don't pretend to be able to answer this fully, but I would like to offer my opinion. I believe it is because we do not see God in the dreams he gives us, that we do not give credit to our dreams. We need to cultivate the culture of dreams in our lives and, with it, the way we interpret them. In this way we will notice that God speaks to us through them.

What we can understand in this biblical passage we have just read is that through dreams, God :

1. Communicates its message
2. Confirms warnings
3. Protects us from pride
4. Protects us from death

What if our dreams that we thought came from our subconscious came from God? So how do we know if a dream is from God? The first thing is to take our dreams seriously, because they could be there to communicate a message from God. Next, pray every time you dream and ask the Holy Spirit to show you if the dream is a divine message.

I invite you to pray with me:

Lord, I pray that you will show me if my dreams are from you. I desire to take seriously the dreams you give me. From today on, I will be waiting for a dream by closing my eyes on my bed and I will be attentive when I wake up. In the name of Jesus, amen.

God Desires to Speak to You Through Dreams

I believe that every Christian can claim to receive dreams from God with the ability to interpret them. Here, briefly, is my take on the subject. It's all based on the promise of Joel 3:1.
