God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)Muestra

David as a Child - 5/5
After David defeated Goliath, he was like a superhero defeating bad guys right and left. And he had the fame of a superhero to go with it. The people of Israel sang songs about how he was ten times the warrior King Saul was.
And that’s when King Saul began to hate David. David could have gotten a big head about it. “Samuel anointed me king, so Saul better run for his life.” Or he could have deserted God’s plan. “This guy is trying to kill me, God. I’m getting out of here.” Instead, David continued to faithfully serve his God, his king, and his country until God made him king.
Are you at a crossroads like David was? Are you thinking of coming up with your own plan instead of following God? Stay the course and ask God to walk with you each step. He is faithful to see you through and work his perfect plan.
