Victory in the Mind: Lessons From Jesus in the Wilderness

DÍA 4 DE 5

The Word

The Bible is a Sacred Text that contains the Word of God. It is a Divine Revelation of God's Thoughts and Desires for humanity. By reading and studying the Bible, we can align our minds with God's Will and understand the difference between our conscience and God's Thoughts. It provides guidance and direction for how we should live, love, and serve others. Through The Bible's Teachings, we can become better people and improve our relationship with God. It is a Powerful Tool for personal growth and spiritual development.

We know that God is loving because the Bible says God is Love. We understand what Love is according to God because the Bible says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others; it is not self-seeking; it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV

Jesus is an example of the Word of God, and the Bible says He is the Word made flesh. Therefore, we can look to Jesus to learn how a human with the Mind of God should act. During His time in the wilderness, Jesus used the Word of God to resist the devil's temptation. Every time the devil tried to weaken His faith by offering Him something enticing, Jesus responded with the Word of God, which is the Revealed Mind of God. We should follow Jesus' example and rely on the Word of God to resist temptation and stay strong in our faith.

Before we go to the next day, inhale and repeat after me, "I will read the Word of God." Exhale and say, "I have the Mind of Christ."
