The Making OfMuestra
Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Psalm 94:12–14 again.
- What was the writer's attitude toward correction?
- What does it teach us about how difficulty shapes our character?
- What promise do you see?
A: Application
- What's a doubt or difficulty you'd like to escape right now?
- God promises to help us, but not necessarily to remove the difficult thing. What would it look like for God to provide relief while you're still in the middle of hardship?
- What's something God might be teaching you through difficulty right now?
P: Prayer
Spend some time in prayer about a difficulty you want to be removed from. Ask God for perspective on how your character can grow through it. Say, thank you for the presence and protection of God even during tough moments.

Acerca de este Plan
As we watch our favorite movies, we may not realize all of the work that went into making the cinematic masterpiece. In the same way, we might expect our relationship with God to look like a finished product when it's still in the making. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll see how our habits behind the scenes help us grow the faith we want to see.
