Day 15 Renewal Readings

The Attributes of God

God is the Rock; His work is perfect, for all His ways are just. A God of faithfulness and without injustice, upright and just is He. (Deuteronomy 32:4)

The word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord. (Psalm 33:4–5)

The Works of God

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars for ever and ever. (Daniel 12:2–3)

An hour is coming when all who are in the graves will hear the voice of the Son of Man and will come out—those who have done good to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to a resurrection of judgment. (John 5:28–29)

My Relationship to God

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forever. For great is Your love toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of the grave. (Psalm 86:12–13)

I will exult in the Lord; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer and enables me to go on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:18–19)

The Character I Want to Cultivate

I will not spread false reports, nor will I help a wicked man by being a malicious witness. (Exodus 23:1)

Lying lips are hateful to the Lord, but He delights in those who deal faithfully. (Proverbs 12:22)

My Relationship to Others

I will not take vengeance or bear a grudge against others, but I will love my neighbor as myself. (Leviticus 19:18)

Whatever I want others to do to me, I will also do to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 7:12)
