1 John is the first of three short letters written by the disciple John. 1 John is thought to have been written to the churches around Ephesus in around 90AD. In this short letter, we start to see and grasp the magnitude of God’s perfect character, and how much his love has radically been shown to us through Jesus. OUR GOD IS ____ ?

The Apostle John had one clear message in his letters: Love one another. In the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John, the beloved disciple encouraged followers of Christ to love God by following His commands, and to love and honor fellow believers.
