Spending time in God’s Word as a family can help plant seeds of faith . Your children gain insights that will help them in life. But how do you lead your family in God’s Word? This five-day plan includes short (1 to 2 minute) audio segments from people like you. You do not have to be a scholar. These are ideas for all ages that you can use right now .

What is a leader? How does God want me to lead? These are the questions we will be studying as we move through this plan. God’s directions, or blueprints, in the way you lead, unlocks new things in our faith, life, and relationships. And this plan is a great starting point for figuring out what that can look like in your life!

We live in a land where truth is subjective, individualized, and culturally conditioned. That same troubling thinking had invaded the churches led by Timothy and Titus, so Paul's pastoral letters to them focus on the objective and universal truth revealed in Jesus.

The first of Paul’s three “pastoral epistles,” 1 Timothy focuses on the church as a “pillar and buttress of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). In the letter, Paul commands Timothy to “guard the deposit” (1 Timothy 6:20) by combatting false teachers, protecting the flock of Christ, and structuring the church well. 1 Timothy shows us the incredible privilege of being in God’s church and the high calling of leading it.

In this devotional, we will explore sociocultural perspectives, the world and its changes, and the damage caused by the Fall as expressed in society, families, and individuals. The invitation is to re-evaluate our own vision, to be healed from emotional fragments, and to be freed from the dogmas and sophisms that characterize our minds and, consequently, our perspective.
