Deeper into Scripture is a methodology of scripture reading that instructs, encourages and equips people to read God’s Word daily and deeply. We have created a unique four-fold method of bible reading that directs the individual to read a short passage of scripture four times. Each reading is done with a different question, instruction or objective to be considered. This repetitive reading and instruction takes us deeply into the Word of God and draws us closer to Him.

This 21-day plan through chapters 1-9 you will see it’s not merely just an account of what happened, but rather what is still happening to this day around the world through the power of The Holy Spirit. In Acts, you will get to see the power of the Holy Spirit on display in the lives of the men and women who followed Jesus.

Spending regular time in God’s Word and in prayer is critical if we want to know God and live lives that glorify him. That’s why each day of this 21-day plan is based on Scripture and is aimed at fueling your desire to feast on God’s Word and depend on him wholeheartedly in prayer. This plan is adapted from David Platt’s daily podcast titled, Pray the Word.

Learn how best to pray, both from the prayers of the faithful and from the words of Jesus Himself. Find encouragement to keep taking your requests to God every day, with persistence and patience. Explore examples of empty, self righteous prayers, balanced against the pure prayers of those with clean hearts. Pray constantly.

This plan is intended as a guide to help you discover the message of Mark’s Gospel for yourself! Grab a notebook to jot down your thoughts as you are led through a process of: (1) observing the Gospel of Mark; (2) interpreting the original message to the church in Rome; and (3) applying the Gospel’s timeless truths to your life today.
