Like Joshua and the Israelites, we who were slaves brought treasure out of our slavery. The question is: are we going to use that wealth for God’s glory and thrive in the wilderness? We discover that God has given us his Holy Spirit so that we have power to be witnesses to what God has done in us. We will be taught to know the Word, but also to obey it, letting it change us and equip us to share it with others.

Did you know that as followers of Christ, our hearts should love the nations? Jesus desires that we love missions as He does. As believers in Christ, we were created to spread the good news and through the Holy Spirit we are able to do so. In this plan, Pastor Gregg Matte gives three statements that will help you understand more about how we can live a life on mission.

God wants his people to be united, joy-filled, and loving one another, in order to demonstrate that the gospel of the kingdom is greater than all our differences. Something powerful happens when we “go” together. Jesus prayed for this very thing before he died, “that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.”

The Bible begins with, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty.” But clearly, that was not a problem for God. He merely spoke and the emptiness was filled with life, beauty, and purpose. This gives us hope that God will do his best work in the emptiness of our own lives. Let’s pray and ask him to fill up our emptiness.

The seven feasts outlined in the Old Testament were not just significant for the Israelites, they are significant to us today because they are symbolic of God’s perfect plan. For believers today, these feasts represent freedom because Jesus came to set us free. As you go through this plan, allow Jesus to reveal Himself to you. When you feast on Jesus, you’ll be set free!
