What is God like? It’s a big question but an important one. What we understand about God will determine how we relate to Him. The more we know about God, the better our relationship will be. God reveals who He is throughout the Bible. Every name for God tells us something about Him. Reflect on God’s character for the next 21 days and see how your love for Him grows.

This Reading Plan goes through the first chapter of 1 Peter. The apostle Peter is writing to Christians who are facing hard times, and exhorts them to stand firm in the true grace of God. If someone asked you about the gospel, you’d probably talk about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection; and you should! But the fullness of the gospel is better, truer, and more beautiful than any story ever told. That’s why we’re exploring the gospel as it’s revealed in every New Testament book so we can understand more of what Jesus and His good news means for us and others.

Scripture teaches us, even exhorts us, to pray with unshakable belief, to open our ears and hear the promises of God, and invite them to dwell deep in our hearts. God wants us to pray these “Prayers of Faith” to anchor our trust in His assurances, knowing that God is always true to His Word. Only then do we pray in ways that abandon ourselves and our cares to God’s loving goodness and divine purposes. May we earnestly desire this for ourselves and the people we are knit together with in God’s family.

What does it mean to be truly human? In a world obsessed with success, appearance and achievement, it’s easy to forget that our worth is not measured by what we do, own or accomplish. Journeying through Genesis, Psalms, the gospels and Daniel, this 21 day devotional series will bring you back to a simple truth: we are made in God’s image, deeply loved, and created with purpose.

Do you want to be blessed? Get saved? Put bad habits to death? Honor God with your life? Be a better husband/wife/child/parent/employee/boss/Christian/ human? Jesus can help with all of that! Ephesians is a short, power-packed letter that reminds us how everything changes once we are “in Christ.” Slow down, think deeply about each verse, and let Jesus change everything about everything.
