This study plan is a complement to the Central Live album titled Greater , and covers some of the scriptural truths that inspired us when writing it. For the next two weeks, let’s explore and savor the personality of God, worship Him through song, and live with fresh gratefulness for our rescue. Greater comes from John 3:30, which is an aim Central Live strives to achieve every day: “He must become greater and I must become less.”

We all need instructions, even marching orders. God’s provides these instructions through a series of letters that we find in the New Testament. The Basic Training Challenge gives you a starting point to learn about God’s mission for you here on earth. Similar to your basic training, this plan will challenge you to get spiritually fit in God’s Word.

Explore what it means to follow Jesus and live the life He has for us. Following Jesus takes commitment, time, and heart. You’ve got all three. So, buckle up, and let’s have some fun!

Living with honor takes discipline and guidance. We need instruction from noble men and women to understand what obstacles stand in our way and how to push through tough times. LIFE WITH JESUS is the best adventure. God gives us armor so we can have the best life and build His Kingdom. These foundational spiritual truths will set you on course to be a world changer! We are strong because of Christ; Put on God’s armor and stand up to anything; I can stand firm on God’s Word.

We can find wisdom for life in the pages of the Bible and in Jesus's parables. Discover that these parables are more than just interesting stories; they give us wisdom about how we should live our lives to be like Him. God’s wisdom is the foundation for our lives. We belong to the kingdom of God, and we have been found by Him.

There is no heartache equal to that of losing a loved one. Unanswered questions, despair, and perhaps self-blame can leave those left behind with feelings of hopelessness. This 16-day plan examines biblical examples of suicide as well as the smorgasbord of lies we are tempted to believe in a suicide situation. Replacing these lies with God’s Truth will bring healing and comfort to those left behind. 

Sometimes we face difficult, seemingly hopeless situations. How can we deal with them? Take an example from Nehemiah, who changed his people's situation for the better through prayer and work. Both were necessary, and they still are!

Japan is the world’s second largest unreached people group even after decades of dedicated evangelism and church presence. In this highly sophisticated society most Japanese see Christianity as nice but irrelevant. Church attendance hovers around 0.3%. Let’s agree with the Word of God as we worship, declare and pray for breakthrough in this beautiful nation.

Every great adventure has a starting point, a beginning place that launches the exhilarating expedition. Such is the extraordinary journey of the Christian faith. Let’s build a firm foundation of eight basic Bible truths, taking two days at a time for exploring: the power of God’s Word, His love, why the cross, grace, Holy Spirit resurrection power, intimacy with God, transforming repentance, and the gift of spiritual warfare.
