What is the good news? Jesus offered his followers a full and fulfilling life, one that would not only last into eternity, but have eternal significance. He called it an “abundant” life, and he claimed that he was the only source of that life.

Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent—a time for reflection, repentance, and renewal when Christians are invited to prepare themselves for the celebration of the Lord’s resurrection. Throughout the forty weekdays and six Sundays in Lent, pray and reflect on God’s renewing power.

The Lent Project is an initiative of Biola University's Center for Christianity, Culture and the Arts.
