The apostle John wrote a book about Jesus, “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). This reading plan goes through many Scripture verses, and the first chapters of John’s gospel, to discover who Jesus is.

Without the anointing, every man is ordinary. In 40 years of obeying God’s call into ministry, I have realized there is a qualification for the anointing needed to fulfill your calling. In this 31-day devotional, you will learn how to posture right for the anointing of God.

In a world of hostility, corruption, and confusion, a regular guy named Mark wrote his gospel to boldly proclaim that Jesus is THE good news. Mark writes with urgency and purpose, giving you a front-row seat to the Story of Jesus. This plan will help you understand that Story through the teachings, miracles, discipleship, and life of Jesus so that you can follow Jesus as his disciple.

In this 19th installment, Who Do You Say I Am? explores how Scripture answers Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” Through Job, we wrestle with God’s wisdom amid suffering. 1–3 John and Jude call us to love, discernment, and faithfulness, while Revelation points to Christ’s ultimate victory. During Advent, weekly readings from the nativity story draw our hearts to the wonder of Christ’s coming. May the Spirit strengthen our faith, deepen our hope, and lead us to boldly confess: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

A man appears and claims to be the Son of God. The people wonder: Is it true? Years later, an old man records his experiences with this Jesus. It is John. He is likely the last living eyewitness from the inner circle. He lives in a time of intense pressure. Both the Romans and the Jewish authorities want to wipe out the message of Jesus, and within the churches, people are emerging who downgrade Jesus to just a "good teacher." John writes the Gospel of John. His goal: To prove that Jesus truly is the Son of God.

Over the next 31 days, we’ll journey through the Gospel of John. It is our prayer that as you study through this Gospel, Jesus would be revealed afresh to you.

John reveals Jesus clearly - His love, His power, His compassion, and His identity as the Son of God. Through signs, teachings, and personal encounters, this gospel invites us to believe deeply and follow wholeheartedly.
