“Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus...” On the way to his execution, Jesus has six encounters between Luke 17-19. As the story unfolds, we see Him define His kingdom and redefine who’s welcome – all while giving us glimpses of His heart, our need, and the simple nature of true faith.

When we talk about 'the Word as our FOUNDATION,' we’re talking about how the Bible helps us to experience the reality of our relationship with Him. Our God is a God who speaks, we can’t separate Him from His Word. We know God through His Word, and our faith is built on this idea. In fact, we can’t grow in our relationship with God, without experiencing a growing love for Scripture. Join us for this 6-day devotional diving into the importance of the Bible in growing our faith & relationship with God.

When interacting with people who are nothing like us, what would Jesus do? Over the next few days, let’s observe the actions of Jesus and how He always chose to respond to others in love.

Self-pity slyly whispers that we deserve better. It clouds our thinking until grumbling seems inevitable. But thanking God lifts our gaze. We must not profess to love God on Sundays and live as if he isn’t present, real, or good on Monday. May your faith come alive this week as you seek to be a doer of the word.
