Mark is all about Jesus! This 13-day plan will walk you through the book of Mark by reading only 1-2 chapters a day. Each day is accompanied by a short devotional and video that explains what’s happening and shows you how each part of the story points to Jesus and his Gospel.

The Gospel of Mark presents Jesus as the Son of God and the perfect servant of God. This 14-day reading plan invites readers specifically into the teachings of Jesus as chronicled by Mark, a close disciple of the Apostle Peter. Starting with the baptism of Jesus and carrying the reader through to the importance and symbolism of Christ’s last meal, the reader will be visually transported into these important moments in Jesus’ history. Experience these teachings come-to-life in this video-based, 14-day reading plan and allow it to revolutionize the way you engage with God’s Word.

This reading plan explores the second Gospel. The persecution of Christians was on Mark's mind as he wrote this Gospel. Mark told the story of Jesus' life in ways that strengthened the faith of early Christians and encouraged them to persevere through suffering.

Mark uses the word “immediately” over forty times in his Gospel, emphasizing the intentional nature of Jesus’ ministry. The quick succession of healings and miracles shows that Jesus “came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:44). Through Mark’s Gospel, we are reminded that true greatness in God’s kingdom comes not through selfish ambition, but by being the servant of all.
