Romans Chapter 8 is one of the greatest chapters in the whole Bible. In it we see how we can have confidence in our secure identity in Jesus and the assurance of the Holy Spirit. In six days we will look at Romans 8 and see how we can live as confident Christians in our challenging world.

It can be discouraging, trying to walk with the Lord and follow His commandments while our flesh wages a war against what the Spirit is leading us to. This week we’ll read and pray through the eighth chapter of Romans, and consider what Paul has to say about living our lives in Spirit, and not in the flesh.

God’s glory is His divine perfection on display or the worship He deserves in response. Because it's the motivation behind everything God does, it should be the motivation behind everything we do. In this study, we’ll look at Who God is and what He’s done, then consider what He deserves from us in response. Once you know what life’s really about, you can make sure yours counts toward something eternal!

God doesn’t just love—you. He is love. And His love for you is deeper, stronger, and more personal than you may have ever realized. One of the enemy's greatest tactics is to constantly feed us lies about ourselves, others and our circumstances. Accepting these lies is sinful and calls for acknowledgement and repentance. The only way to defeat these thoughts is through the Truth of God's Word. We must not rely on our feelings or let them guide us, but stand firmly on the truth and the truth alone. The truth alone can set us free!

Belts work a lot better if they are buckled, don’t they! It is similar with the belt of truth. Vaguely believing that the Bible is true means that you at least have the belt of truth in your belt loops. But is it buckled?
