A proverb is defined as, “a wise saying or precept, a didactic sentence.” At a glance, the book of Proverbs is exactly that: a Biblical book of wise sayings and/or precepts that have been conveniently gathered together for its readers. But what if the book of Proverbs is something more? The book of Proverbs IS something more than a collection of cute phrases...it is Biblical wisdom!
