Apart from changing our sin problem, our lifestyle, and the course of our destiny, Jesus came to give us health and healing. He came to change our emotional, mental, and physical conditions. How glorious it is to know, that by the work of the cross we are healed, and our mental and emotional stabilities have been provided. I believe many remain unhealthy or with mental and emotional struggles because they do not claim what Jesus accomplished for them on the cross. Today’s verse tells us the “punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed.”Those statements include our mental, emotional, and physical freedom. He is the God that came to change all of our conditions, and if not realized here in this life, we know in heaven all of these realities will be true.
