Paske men pawòl Senyè a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, di: Ti bòl farin frans lan ak ti boutèy lwil oliv la p'ap janm vid jouk jou mwen menm Senyè a m'a fè lapli tonbe sou latè ankò.

En effet, voici ce que dit le SEIGNEUR, Dieu d’Israël : “Dans le bol, la farine ne manquera pas, dans le pot, l’huile ne diminuera pas jusqu’au jour où moi, le SEIGNEUR, je ferai tomber la pluie sur la terre.” »

For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.’ ”

Car voici ce que déclare l’Eternel, le Dieu d’Israël : « Le pot de farine ne se videra pas, et la jarre d’huile non plus, jusqu’au jour où l’Eternel fera pleuvoir sur le pays. »
